We can reveal the background to the Skulls title image is filled with fireworks, so we’re going to take an early guess at a Mexican Day of the Dead theme here. We’ve seen a few of those themed games around already, but we guess there is always room for some more. This one comes to us from Blueprint, so let’s see whether we were correct with the theme.
We certainly seem to be, because when the game loads, we seem to be looking at a… hang on, is that the entrance to a crypt? Are those gravestones underneath the reels?! Well, if this is a Day of the Dead-style theme, we suppose they have got the detail right. There are lots of skulls on the six reels of the game – yes, six reels here – and there are four rows per reel too, so this is a busy game.
It is packed with other features too. There is a Reels Smasher feature here, which is much the same as it sounds. Reels will smash some of the symbols on the reels to create additional chances for a win. Meanwhile, there is a Massive Smash Reactor in action as well. Doesn’t that sound like fun? The game appears to give us 262 ways to win, but since there is a lot of unusual stuff featuring here, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Skulls slot turned out to have even more to offer.
