T-Rex II Slots

The original T-Rex slot hit hugely successful heights, so it stands to reason there would be a sequel. The time has come for us to review this new slot release, so let’s get started.

Which developer came up with the T-Rex II slot?

The same one that was behind the original – RTG. The Real Time Gaming brand guarantees we’re in for a great time here.

Is there a demo to check out?

Yes, and it features everything you can expect to see in the real thing.

Does it have a dinosaur theme?

It does, complete with numerous other dinosaurs alongside the most feared one of all.

Enjoy the superb design features

The slot takes place in a rocky and deserted region… deserted, that is, except for those dinosaurs. There are vines hanging around, along with strange plants and aggressive-looking dinosaurs wherever you look. The background is just as appealing as all the symbols in terms of appearance.

The basics of T-Rex II slots

The game has five reels and comes with two progressive jackpots – the major and minor ones. These are alternately shown at the top of the reels.

If you thought the T-Rex might be a wild, you’re correct – it only appears on the first reel, but it will double any prizes you get with its assistance. It cannot replace the scattered eggs, but everything else is fine to be replaced by the T-Rex. There is another potential feature involved with the wild, but we’ll get to that shortly.

How many paylines?

This slot game has 25 variable paylines. We recommend playing them all with a smaller line bet on each if you can.

Bet considerations

You can go from one cent up to $2.50 per line to calculate your total bet.

Does the game include a paytable?

It does, and it can be accessed via the three lines inside a circle in the bottom right corner. Select ‘info’ to find it. There are eight pages there, explaining more about how the wilds and scatters work, along with the various special features in store.

Is there a bonus feature?

Of sorts, yes… and it involves the T-Rex. The T-Rex Terror Wild feature may occur whenever the T-Rex lands on the first reel. When this occurs, the dinosaur may decide to eat dinosaurs on the other reels of the game. Only then are pays granted. Whenever a dinosaur is devoured by the T-Rex, it will see a wild icon in its place.

What about some free spins?

Yes, you have a chance to get some of these as well. The scattered eggs are the key to these, with three, four, or five eggs giving you the chance to play some freebies. You’ll receive 10, 20, or 100 games respectively. Let’s hope you find five eggs in the same spin!

Two things to note here – firstly, the T-Rex Terror Wild feature could trigger during those games. Secondly, more freebies could be won if more eggs appear.

Do we know the RTP for this slot game?

No, this hasn’t been made available just yet.

What about our rating?

We’re giving this a solid 8 out of 10 points, thanks to the mighty dinosaurs and features you can expect to see in the game. It’s a great one to play, either in demo mode or for real if it suits your budget. We especially love the roaring T-Rex bonus feature if you get it…

Will we hear about any winners?

We may do, since the game does come with those two progressive jackpots. How high will those go before someone manages to grab one?

Demo play is the best introduction to this game

It doesn’t matter if you played the original game or not, we’d recommend getting started with the demo if you haven’t checked out T-Rex II slots yet. You can play as if the game was real, except you use demo credits instead.

Play for real when you feel ready

You can stick with the demo version if you like, but if you do want to progress to the real version of the slot, get ready to do it at your favorite RTG casino.

Mobile action is also available

The T-Rex II slot game is available across all platforms, including mobile play on tablets and smartphones.
