Magic Carpet Slots Is a cheap reskin slot that still manages to have a certain amount of charm thanks to generous jackpots and some quirky design choices. With some nice imagery, classic gameplay mechanics, and decent winning chances, Magic Carpet Slots is a game many people can soon find themselves addicted to, provided you can bring yourself to give it a chance. We got wrapped up in it during our review, despite admitting it really is not all that impressive of a game. There is something to be said for the classic formula it would seem, which this game nails and then some. We recommend giving it a try if you find jackpots and easy play sessions enticing, which is what this game primarily has to offer would be sultans.
The premise of Magic Carpet Slots is basically Aladdin. They make it vaguely Persian looking, but the imagery is clearly inspired by the film and its take on that ancient culture. Featuring all manner of things from that time and space, including the titular carpet, it looks like a really low budget Disney film with some nice character design work thrown in to spice things up.
Graphics in Magic Carpet Slots are a very mixed bag. It has some pretty good character work going for it, nice colors, and crisp, clear, vivid ways of moving the reels. Even the background is nice. That said, the UI is an afterthought, and the suits of cards all look very out of place given the rest of what you will be matching. We are not sure why they did not choose other Persian elements there, as they would not have been hard to make something vaguely Persian in place of that, including some nice Farsi. Still, the game does not look bad, despite being clearly a reskin of other games.
Gameplay in Magic Carpet Slots is very basic. At 25 pay lines and 5 reels, there is not much to work with there. The jackpots, however, are pretty generous, which for many players like ourselves makes up for all misgivings. Add to that the decent payout chances, and you have a good recipe for a game. There is not much to speak of in terms of exciting bonuses and all else, but it still holds its own. Bets range widely on the lower end too, keeping things accessible for those of us that are still street rats.
+ Nice theme
+ Good character work

* Looking for something truly innovative in the genre
* You find the theme in any way offputting
Is it Buggy?
In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.
Magic Carpet Slots Is basically a low budget Aladdin with big jackpots and a lot of heart despite the way it may at times look. Being a reskin, our hopes were not high for this one, but it still holds its own and is a good time waiting to be had if you are willing to take the chance. Featuring genies, carpets, and assorted Persia art, it is pretty to look at for the most part, and plays just as soundly. We enjoyed our time with it, and think most people will too. Unless you are a big Persian buff, in which case you might feel put off by their take on the Disnified genre.
