Take The Kingdom Slots

The mere mention of a kingdom suggests that we’re heading into battling territory for this slot game. And indeed, we are, as we find ourselves on a fiery battlefield, complete with warriors all around. We’ve revealed only a little of what to expect when you check out the Take the Kingdom slot game though, so let’s dive in here to see what else we can learn about it.

Developer revealed…

The title supplies a massive clue to the developer, which we can reveal is Betsoft. They’ve got other games based on the Take the idea, so if you’ve played some of those, you might know how to approach this one too.

Battle against the demo first

Enter the kingdom inside the practice game to learn everything you need to know before you play the real thing.

Does the title help reveal the theme?

You may already have played a few ‘Take the…’ titles from Betsoft. Take the Bank, Take Santa’s Shop, and so on. This is another in the series, although there are a few twists this time around. We do get a kingdom-themed battle approach here though.

Betsoft has come up with another beautiful design

It’s in 3D, and we were so impressed with the detail that it took us a moment to spot the feared dragon peering around the side of the reels. Look at that studded tail… we wouldn’t want to meet it in a dark alley… or anywhere else come to think of it.

How to play Take the Kingdom

This one has five reels, but there are five icons per reel too, so it offers more scope than other games. There are no progressive prizes to look for during the slot.

The dragon’s head is wild, changing into fiery cracked ground whenever it appears. They’re called Fireball Wilds, and we’ll move on to explain more about those shortly. There is also a scattered treasure chest to look for, and the wilds won’t replace this.

The treasure chest doesn’t appear everywhere, instead being restricted to the middle three reels.

Plenty of paylines in this game!

Would you believe you play on 100 of them every time?

A low range of available wagers

These go from 25 cents per spin to $10, so the high rollers may want to skip this one. We think it just gives you more chance to play for longer though.

Make sure you review the paytable first

The usual info button appears just under the first reel, so you can check it out there to see how the Fireball Wilds work.

What about bonus features?

The game plays out in sets of seven spins. You’ll see a flaming fireball to the lower right of the reels. When the game begins, this shows the number seven. Whenever one or more wilds appear on the reels, a fireball appears in the corner of the symbol(s) before the reels spin again.

All positions showing a fireball at the end of the seven spins will reveal wilds. You’re then paid out for any prizes landing on that spin, before another set of seven spins begins.

Free spins in Take the Kingdom

If you find three treasure chests in any combination of positions, you’ll receive 12 free games. The Fireball timer to the lower right of the reels stops when the free games begin. However, you will play through those games with at least six wilds in play on each spin. If you’re fortunate, you may get nine wilds or even 12 wilds in play per spin instead. Regardless of quantity, the wilds change positions on each spin.

Betsoft has revealed the RTP

The value we have for this game is 96.53%.

Our rating for Take the Kingdom

Anyone who loved the other games in this themed series is sure to love this version as well. We liked the bigger reels and the dramatic theme and presentation. We’re rating this as 9.5 out of 10.

Winning potential in Take the Kingdom slots

The loading screen confirms that you could get up to 3,640x your bet. This sounds promising at the upper end of the payment scale.

Make sure you spin the demo game first

If you’re new to the series from Betsoft, this is the best way to make sure you understand how it works.

Play for real if you like the combative theme

This is far more dramatic than other games in this Betsoft slot series. As such, if the demo is dramatic enough for you, you might want to switch to the real thing.

Also available on mobile

Yes, you can always play the game on mobile devices if you wish, as it works across all platforms.
