Have you heard of Woo Hoo Games? They've created Larry's Lucky Tavern, so if you're new to this outfit, this is certainly a superb game to act as an introduction.

Do we get the chance to try a demo version?

We do, yes, and this gives us a demo balance of 1,000 coins to play with. There are no real prizes here, of course, but the game does give us a lot to appreciate throughout - even when practicing.

What's the theme?

When the game loads (which takes just a few seconds), you'll see Larry wearing a green hat. You might also spot plenty of four-leaf clover… so if you're thinking about a lucky Irish slot with a leprechaun, you're spot on about that.

Enjoy the sparky design

Expect lots of green, of course, not to mention the outdoor setting. We guess the tavern is around the corner… There are violins, tankards, and other delights on the reels. The leprechaun appears in 3D to add more depth to the game as well.

How to play the Larry's Lucky Tavern slot game

There are five reels involved, as you'll see when you load the game. You won't see any progressive jackpots here though, unfortunately. The wild is labeled and shows the leprechaun's hat on top of a pot of gold - very appropriate! This can appear on all the reels, and if you get three or four wilds in a winning combination, you'll receive a 3x or 5x multiplier, respectively. If the wild lands on the middle reel, it expands to fill every spot on that reel.

The scatter also carries a label, but it says free spins rather than scatter, so you can guess how that role plays out. Three or more scatters also pay a scatter prize. There is also a bonus symbol, labeled as such, featuring a tap on the end of a green barrel.

How many paylines are there in Larry's Lucky Tavern?

There are 50 of them in action, and you'll cover all of them with each wager.

Bets to choose from in this Irish-themed game

The cheapest wager is 50 cents, which means you're betting a cent on each line. There are nine other amounts to choose from, the largest being $100.

Hit the three lines to reveal the paytable

Well, not quite… but you will see a link to the rules on the next screen, so you can easily reach them from that burger icon.

There's a bonus feature to play if you can reach it

Find three of those barrel bonus icons and you'll be asked to choose one of the barrels you see on your screen. Each barrel reveals a drink. You can continue doing this until you find three identical drinks. You then receive a prize for those drinks.

Free spins in Larry's Lucky Tavern slots

This is simple enough to understand - find three or more scatters and you'll get 10 free spins. All prizes receive a 3x multiplier in this round.

Do we have the RTP for you?

We do, yes - it has been confirmed as 97%, which is a great value for the return to player percentage.

Our rating for Larry's Lucky Tavern

Even though you don't get to go inside the tavern, Larry is there playing a tune on his violin whenever you score a prize. It's a superb game that looks sharp and has some excellent features involved. This is worthy of an 8.5 out of 10 score from us.

Where do the best prizes lie?

The lucky horseshoe really could bring you some good fortune in this slot game, as it is worth up to 400 coins for five on the same line.
