We don’t think we have ever seen a more captivating image for a slot game than the one that greets us in Timelines. The modern lettering used for the title sits over the top of a mysterious image of London. Check out Tower Bridge – it looks very different in this image. Does it speak of the future, or something else entirely?
Games Warehouse came up with the idea for Timelines, and we like everything we’ve seen about this game. It has only just been released for playing online, so it’s early days in terms of feedback. However, when you click through to the game itself, you’ll see a date above the reels. One screenshot reveals the date as 20 April 1889… around the time Tower Bridge was being built. And yes, behind the five reels you can see it under construction. The design gives us a chance to sit inside what looks like a spaceship of some sort – in sharp contrast to the view we see in front of us.
However, there are wilds, changing scenery, a red background instead of a silvery-blue one, and lots more going on as well. Time certainly factors into this slot, thanks to the pocket watch, clock, and egg timer icons that might appear during play. You’ll benefit from a stacked wild in the Rift free spins, with a sticky wild also appearing in the free spins. Timelines is one new slot game you won’t want to miss this year.
