Differences Between the Bets

Monkey, Donkey, and Granny bets tend to be your more traditional routes. Monkey is a win bet, Donkey a place bet, and Granny a show bet.

If you choose Gonzo, you choose two or three cards from a pile. Those three horses fill an exacta box of first, second, and third places. You then place your box bet.

The Fiddy is much like a slot machine. Spin the three reels and you'll get horses in first, second, and third place (trifecta). If you like the combination, place the bet. You can bet 50 cents to $1,000 with this mode. Dime (superfecta) bets are similar, only there are four reels instead of three and the bets range from 10 cents to $2.
