The Tipsy Tourist: Beach Bonanza Slots
We love a slot game based on a beach, especially when it looks as good as the one on show in The Tipsy Tourist Beach Bonanza. That’s quite a title, but you might recognize the first part from the original Tipsy Tourist slot from Betsoft. Here we see the guy in action again, but what is going to happen this time?
There are no surprises with the reels and paylines
Twenty paylines snake their way over the five available game reels you’ll see upon loading the game.
What is the smallest bet you can play with?
You can approach this as a penny slot to get a 20-cent bet. You also have various other possibilities, with $80 the largest total bet you can use.
Can you find a beach ball?
If you can, you’ll know you have found the wild icon – mainly because it is labeled. This can bounce into view on any reel apart from reel one. You can use it to replace most things, but there are a few exceptions, which we’ll cover with you now.
The game has a gold coin that comes into play as a bonus icon. There is another coin that looks a lot like it as well, except this coin has COLLECT underneath it.
Tipsy Tourist Beach Bonanza bonuses
You need to land five bonus coins and at least one collect coin to reach the Hold & Win feature. Pleasingly, you get nine respins here. Each bonus symbol shows a cash sum or a jackpot name. The collect symbol must appear on a respin to pick up all values shown in that respin.
Watch for two other symbols as well. A palm tree will give you another respin whenever you see it. Meanwhile, the yacht says ‘expand +1 spin’ – this means you get another respin, but you also get another position on the reel it appears on.
If you land some coins but don’t get enough to trigger the feature, you may potentially trigger the Cooler Bonus. This can get you some more coins… and potentially access to the feature.
What will you make of The Tipsy Tourist Beach Bonanza?
This is a fine game, and while we feel we have seen the Hold & Win feature a few too many times now, this version does at least have some alternative elements involved. Try it and see what you make of it.
